Pioneering artist on display at Kemper

Pioneering conceptual artist Luis Camnitzer has earned an international reputation for his subtly biting prints, multiples and sculptural works that combine poetic lyricism with political and social engagement. This spring, the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum has organized Luis Camnitzer: Forewords and Last Words, an exhibition of works spanning the career of this influential artist. FULL STORY

Violations of immigration law reveal its flaws, Legomsky says

Anyone who cares about the rule of law has to acknowledge that illegal immigration has serious social costs that cannot be casually dismissed, says immigration law expert Stephen Legomsky, JD, DPhil, the John S. Lehmann University Professor at the School of Law. “When millions of individuals violate any law — whether it’s immigration, taxes or exceeding the posted speed limit — the rule of law takes a hit,” Legomsky says. “But sometimes, mass violations reveal flaws in the law itself.” FULL STORY

AIMBE elects two WUSTL faculty as fellows
